COL Jennifer Karim

COL Jennifer Karim is a 1999 graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY where she earned her commission as a Second Lieutenant.

COL Karim has held a series of key command and staff positions. Most recently, she served as the Deputy Director of Operations G-4 3/5/7 at the Pentagon. She also served as Chief of Sustainment for III Armored Corps at Fort Hood, Texas. From June 2022 to June 2024, she commanded the 407th Army Field Support Brigade at Fort Hood, and from June 2020 to June 2022, she was the 4th Regimental Tactical Officer for the U.S. Corps of Cadets at the United States Military Academy.

Her previous assignments include command of Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion, Eighth U.S. Army at Camp Humphreys, South Korea; Branch Chief, Joint Strategic Plans Division, Directorate of Logistics (J4), U.S. European Command in Stuttgart, Germany; Asset Visibility Branch Chief, Sustainment Operations Division, U.S. Army Europe in Wiesbaden, Germany; Battalion Executive Officer, 266th Quartermaster Battalion, 23rd Quartermaster Brigade, Fort Lee, Virginia; Brigade S3, Quartermaster Brigade, Fort Lee; Deputy Director, Petroleum and Water Department, Fort Lee; Operations Officer, 215th Brigade Support Battalion, Fort Hood; Company Commander, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 215th Brigade Support Battalion, Forward Operating Base Warhorse, Iraq; Company Commander, HHC, 215th BSB, Fort Hood; Supply Branch Chief, Operational Test Command, West Fort Hood; Battalion Adjutant, 498th Corps Support Battalion, Yongsan, South Korea; Executive Officer, Mike Company, 23rd Quartermaster Brigade, Fort Lee; and Platoon Leader, 58th Quartermaster Company, 49th Quartermaster Group, Fort Lee.

COL Karim has deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Her military education includes the Quartermaster Officer Basic Course, the Combined Logistics Officer Advanced Course, the Command and General Staff Officer Course, and the U.S. Army War College.

COL Karim holds a Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy, a Master of Science from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.

Her awards and decorations include three Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medals (three bronze oak leaf clusters), Army Commendation Medals(3 bronze oak leaf clusters), Joint Service Achievement Medals (one bronze oak leaf cluster), Army Achievement Medals (one bronze oak leaf cluster), and the Parachutist Badge.
