882A – Mobility Warrant Officer

Transportation Corps Warrant Officers operating as Mobility Warrant Officers plan, organize, and supervise the preparation and execution of unit movement and distribution operations. 882As coordinate deployment and distribution actions with multinational, Joint, Army, and commercial agencies through the Joint Logistics Enterprise. Mobility Warrant Officers prepare and validate deployment and redeployment plans, orders, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). They provide training in unit movement operations and supervise the use of Joint and Army transportation systems to document Army deployment, redeployment, and distribution operations while assisting Commanders in planning and conducting unit movement operations and operational maneuver. Transportation Mobility Warrant Officers are vital to ensuring Army units can deploy anywhere in the world at any time.

CHARLESTON, S.C. (May 25, 2022) Army units from Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) and Navy units from Military Sealift Command (MSC) and Navy Cargo Handling Battalion One (NCHB-1) came together in May to train in U.S. Transportation Command’s Field Training Exercise (FTX) Turbo Distribution 22-4 (TD 22-4).
