Chief Warrant Officer Five Retired Jermain C. Williamson is a native son of Portsmouth, Virginia. He entered active duty in 1991 and was accessed into the Warrant Officer Corps in 1999. He is married to the former CW4(R) Jennifer L. Stubbs, together they have 8 children and two grandchildren.
He currently works as the Senior Program Manager for Choisys Technology, overseeing the Army’s Lifelong Learning Center Program and Blackboard System. He also serves as the Vice President of Operations for Williamson & Williamson Real Estate Development and Consulting LLC.
His 32-year Army career was a timeline of firsts as he functioned as a pioneer for Sustainment Warrant Officers and Logistics professionals across the entire Army. During his military career, CW5 (R) Williamson served on multiple deployments including tours in Haiti, Kuwait, and Iraq. He has had a number of diverse assignments that include all three of the original Terminal Battalions within the 7th Transportation Brigade at Joint Base Langley Eustis (JBLE), VA. Some of his notable assignments include being selected as the first TC Warrant Officer assigned to the Warrant Officer Career College Fort Rucker, where he served as a Training Advising and Counseling (TAC) Officer and was later nominated to serve as the Senior TAC Officer. In his next duty he was selected as only the second TC Warrant Officer to be assigned to a Support Command, Theater (TSC) level. His final assignment was another first, being selected to serve as the 5th Regimental Chief Warrant Officer for the U.S. Army Transportation School & Corps.
His military education and training include the US Army War College: Senior Leadership Seminar, Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course, Marine Deck Officer A2 Certification Course, Bridge Resource Management Course, US Army Instructor Training Course, US Army Training Development Capability Course and the US Army Business Transformation School: Green Belt Lean Six Sigma. CW5(R) Williamson holds an MBA as well as a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Liberty University, he is also a graduate from the University of Maryland with an associate degree in Management. He holds several certifications including: Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML), DE&I in the Workplace (DEIW), Project Management Professional (PMP) and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Strategic Leadership at Liberty University.
Some of his notable service decorations include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (7th Award), Iraqi Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Campaign Medal (2nd Award), Armed Forces Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal (2nd Award) along with numerous additional awards which illustrate a successful and productive career.
