Unit Movement Branch
This branch manages the two courses that define/teach the deployment and Redeployment processes; Air Deployment Planning Course (ADPC) and the Unit Movement Office Deployment Planning Course (UMODPC). ADPC certifies the students in air load planning for 2 years and instructs the students on Integrated Computerized Deployment Systems (ICODES) Air.
AIR DEPLOYMENT PLANNING (ADPC)
Instruction on the responsibilities of unit air movements; strategic airlift operations; planning operations and manifesting; preparation of equipment and personnel; the 463L pallet cargo system; weighing, marking and determining center balance of cargo; joint inspections; A/DACG procedures; aircraft characteristics and limitations; planning and preparing airlift documentation; aircraft configurations; and unit air movements planning; the Integrated Computerized Deployment System (ICODES Air).
UNIT MOVEMENT OFFICER DEPLOYMENT PLANNING (UMODPC)
This course addresses the mobilization and deployment processes at various levels of command within the Army. Focus of this course is on legal authorities, mobilization concepts, plans, policies, procedures, and the responsibilities for mobilization and deployment at all levels.
