Federal Cab over Engine (COE) 4-5 ton Truck and Trailer was a primary truck during World War II.

Truck Pavilion

The museum Truck Pavilion is an outdoor exhibit space housing over 20 of our collection of wheeled vehicles to include the iconic Jeep, several forklifts, and the truck and trailer workhorses of the Transportation Corps through the ages. The pavilion is also our premier outdoor ceremony space, hosting numerous changes of command and promotion ceremonies throughout the year.

In one glance you can trace the development of the Army Jeep from World War II through Viet Nam. Each variant differs from its predecessor but you can easily tell the 'family' relationship. One tractor trailer was the forerunner of the Transportation Museum. It was a travelling recruiting show which eventually evolved into the Transportation Museum. And, yes, there is Super DUKW, an amphibious truck for moving cargo from ship to shore in logistics over the shore (LOTS) operations with no harbor facilities.
