Command Sergeant Major Alicia D. Dunn

Command Sergeant Major Alicia D. Dunn was born in Maysville, KY and grew up in Peebles, OH. She entered the United States Army on 2 October 1992 as an 88M, Vehicle Transport Operator.

His military education includes the Warrant Officer Entry Course, Marine Deck Warrant Officer Basic Course, Marine Radar Observer Course, Marine Deck Officer A2 Certification Course, Global Maritime Distress Safety System Course, Instructor Training Course, Warrant Officer Advanced Course, Warrant Officer Staff Course, Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course, and Senior Leader Seminar.

CSM Dunn’s previous assignments include the 104th Transportation Company, Fort Devens, MA; 104th Transportation Company Fort Benning, GA; 41st Transportation Company, Vilseck, Germany and deployed in support of Task Force Hawk; 3rd Battalion 10th Infantry Division, Fort Leonard Wood, MO (Drill Sergeant); United States Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center and School; 1st Special Warfare Group (Airborne), Fort Bragg, NC (Platoon Sergeant); HHD, 7th Transportation Battalion (Airborne), Fort Bragg, NC (Detachment Sergeant); Group Support Battalion, 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) and deployed in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM; HHC, 264th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Fort Bragg, NC (First Sergeant); 595th Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, Arifjan, Kuwait (Current Operations NCOIC); 1st Sustainment Command (Theater), Fort Bragg, NC (SPO Mobility NCOIC); 553D Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, Fort Hood, TX (Command Sergeant Major); 49th Transportation Battalion, Fort Hood, TX (Command Sergeant Major) and the 596th Transportation Brigade, Southport, NC (Command Sergeant Major). Her last assignment in the Army is as the FORSCOM G-4 SGM.

CSM Dunn’s military education includes all levels of the Noncommissioned Officer Education System, culminating with the United States Army Sergeant Major Academy (Class 65). She is also a graduate of The United States Drill Sergeant School, the Battle Staff Course, and Airborne School. Her civilian education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Fayetteville State University and a Master’s Degree in Business Management from Excelsior College.

Her military decorations and awards include the Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medal (w/1 silver and 2 bronze OLC), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal (w/2 OLC), Army Achievement Medal (w/1 silver OLC), Good Conduct Medal (8th Award), National Defense Service Medal (w/bronze star), Kosovo Ribbon (w/bronze star), Afghanistan Campaign Medal (w/bronze star), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon (w/Numeral 5), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (w/Numeral 2), NATO Medal (w/bronze star). She has also been awarded the Driver’s Badge (W), the Drill Sergeant Badge, the Basic Parachutist Badge, the Irish Parachutist Badge, and the Honorable Order of Saint Christopher.
