Command Sergeant Major (Retired) Vickie G. Culp was born in Miami, Florida. She enlisted in the United States Army in August 1989. She attended Basic Training at Fort Dix, New Jersey, and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Eustis, Virginia, as a Traffic Management Coordinator.

She is currently licensed in North Carolina as a Licensed Massage Bodywork Therapist.

She retired September 2019, and currently resides in Raeford, North Carolina. CSM (R) Culp currently owns a Massage Business, and works as a Planning Operations Specialist on Fort Bragg, at FORSCOM, G3/5/7.
