Colonel Edward J. Fisher graduated Pennsylvania State University in 1980 and was commissioned a second lieutenant in the Transportation Corps. Over his 27 year career, he served in multiple overseas location, including Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, Korea, and Turkey. He commanded the Bayonne Military Ocean Terminal, 78th Transportation Company, and 106th Transportation Battalion. Other key assignments included Division Transportation Officer (DTO) 82nd Airborne Division; J 4/7 Programs Officer, CENTCOM; and COLs Assignment Officer, PERSCOM. He retired in 2007 and established LEEK Foundation, a Hunting and Fishing Mountain Preserve serving disabled veterans dealing with post traumatic stress. His decorations include: Defense Superior Service Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (w/ 2OLC), Joint Service Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal (w/4OLC), Joint Service Achievement Medal, and Army Achievement Medal. He is authorized to wear the Parachutist Badge, Air Assault Badge, and Australian Jump Wings.
