Transportation officers are our Army’s deployment and distribution experts, effectively supporting expeditionary forces. They are trained, innovative, and adaptive transportation and logistics leaders who are grounded in the Army Values and can operate throughout the JIIM environment. Transportation officers enable unified land operations through the application of functional expertise in deployment and distribution.
Upon promotion to Captain (CPT) and completion of the Combined Logistics Captains Career Course (LOG-C3), Transportation Officers become Multi-Functional Logistics Officers (90A), but retain the secondary branch code indicating a Transportation background (90A88)
