Lieutenant Colonel Saul A. Arroyo

Lieutenant Colonel Arroyo is a native of Florida. His military service began 1995 in the First Armored Division. In 2002, he commissioned from Officer Candidate School as a Second Lieutenant in the Infantry Corps and in 2006 branch transferred to the Quartermaster Corps.

Lieutenant Colonel Arroyo's Logistics assignments include Logistics Advisor (Iraq), Military Transition team, Fort Riley, KS where he served as the Senior Logistics advisor to the Iraqi Security Forces; Followed by Chief of Operations, 10th Sustainment Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, NY and forward deployed to Camp Taji, Iraq. Fort Gregg-Adams, VA assignments include Company Commander, W CO, 266th Quartermaster Battalion, Aide De Camp to the Quartermaster General, and Plans Officer at the Army Sustainment University. Followed by an assignment to 82nd Sustainment Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Liberty, NC where he served as Deputy Brigade Support Operations Officer, including forward deployed to Afghanistan; Battalion Support Operations Officer of the 189th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion and as the 82nd Sustainment Brigade Operations Officer; subsequently assigned to United States Northern Command (NORTHCOM) at Peterson Airforce Base, Colorado Springs, CO in the J4 Logistics Directorate as a Joint Strategic Logistics Officer; followed by an assignment to United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) and forward deployed to CENTCOM Theater as the Director of Logistics, Special Operations Joint Task Force (SOJTF); followed by Commander of the 264th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion at Fort Liberty, NC, then assigned to US Army War College Secretary of Defense (SECDEF) Fellowship at Leidos Corporation in Reston, VA. Following assignment to Army Sustainment Command, Rock Island Arsenal, IL as Director of Mobility / Power Projection and Operations Directorate. In July 2024, Lieutenant Colonel Arroyo assumed the role of Assistant Commandant of the Transportation School at Fort Gregg-Adams, VA.

His military service includes two operational deployments in support of Operation Joint Endeavor and Joint Guard (Bosnia Herzegovina Campaign), three Operation Iraqi Freedom combat deployments and one Operation Enduring Freedom combat deployment to Afghanistan; and one combat tour in Kuwait. Lieutenant Colonel Arroyo's military education includes the Infantry Officer Basic Course, Combined Logistics Captains Career Course, Command and General Staff College, Joint and Combined Warfighting School - Joint Professional Military Education - II and a Senior Service College Fellowship at Leidos in Reston, VA. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Troy University in Troy, Alabama.
