Deployment Process Modernization Office (DPMO)

Serve as the proponent for the Army deployment process. Identify and develop corresponding policies, concepts, doctrine, training, and enablers and conduct experiments, analyses, and studies to enhance the deployment and redeployment of Army forces.

About DPMO

DPMO is a Special Staff organization working for the U.S. Army Chief of Transportation, Ft. Gregg-Adams, Virginia. A few of the key areas that we are responsible for and which enhance Strategic Responsiveness and Deployability are: development of Deployment Concepts and Doctrinal publications, TC-AIMS II and CMOS testing and fielding activities, the Chief of Staff, Army Deployment Excellence Award Program, Modeling and Analysis of deployment studies, Deployers Toolbox and Deployment Concept and Capabilities Development. Operations & Training

Serve as the operational and administrative proponent for DPMO by supporting the agency with strategic planning and long range forecasting

Deployment Information Systems

Serve as the functional proponent for the Army Deployment System of record by supporting developing, testing, and fielding of deployment and distribution transportation information systems

Serve as the functional proponent for Army Deployment Policy, Doctrine and the Commander’s Deployment Discipline Program

Deployment Analysis

Conduct deployment process analysis to meet the demands of current and future forces while identifying key issues and inefficiencies and making viable DOTMLPF-P recommendations
